If you or someone you know have been a victim of sexual misconduct involving the Diocese of Boise, please call the Office of Child, Youth, and Adult Protection report line (208) 350-7557. You may also contact the State of Idaho Child Protection Office at 1-855-552-5437.
If you will be working with children or vulnerable adults in any volunteer or paid capacity in the Diocese of Boise, you are required to complete the Diocese’s Safe Environment process. Please contact the office of the program where you will be volunteering, and they will assist you through the process.
Even for those not working directly with children, or vulnerable adults the renewal training videos and optional training videos at virtusonline.org (click here) can be very helpful in identifying some of the signs of grooming. Our whole community should stay vigilant and participate in creating a safe environment.
